About Me:
Jakob was born, raised and is currently residing in Berlin. He had an interest in both music and photography from a very young age. His mother sent him to music courses from a very early age, which he disliked and decided to instead tinker in music programs at home on his computer. During his studies in architecture in 2018, Jakob decided to start the solo-music project "Mas Bokus", under which he published four albums. He worked with clients on composing music for dance, theatre, animation, videos, and games. He has experience performing live in front of an audience for dance performances, as well as DJing at events, clubs, and radio shows.
While his love for photography (and video) has more recently re-surfaced, his passion for capturing environments and people dates back to 2012, when he was gifted his first camera. It was living abroad in Japan in 2025 that inspired Jakob to take his craft to the next level, by learning passionately about how light, framing, settings, and small details make or break a photo. Working with clients for the first time, as well as gaining knowledge in editing and printing, has given him the confidence to offer his craft as a service for others.

Not looking for music, but instead someone to document your next event? I’m happy to help out to capture those important moments on camera.
I’m happy to compose music for your next dance project, theatre piece, animation/film, or game. Or anything else that is not listed here – I’m open to other forms of mixed media.
To estimate a time plan, as well as a rough budget, please send me a rundown of what you need me to cover in your project – what is it about, what emotions are present, and what are you trying to express? How many tracks, how long, what style of music, live or recorded, etc.? From there, we will schedule regular meetings and a reasonable number of revisions.
DJing and selecting music is something I started a couple of years ago and started falling in love with.

I love capturing performers, audiences, and ultimately communities and cultural movements. The importance of having someone document your event cannot be understated, and it will be the number one thing you can look back on!
Depending on the scale of your event, duration, and scope, budgets can change. Please assume a minimum of 25€/hour.
I’m still learning in this category of photography, but I’m confident to offer my skills in this department. I’m happy to take your next portrait or couples shoot for you. Sessions will take approximately one to two hours, with one or two locations that both mutually agree on. Prices can vary, but please assume a minimum of €60 per shoot. Let’s discuss your needs!
Would you like to have one of my photographs printed? I’m happy to share a high resolution of your chosen image, and if needed, take care of the printing process, shipping, etc. Depending on scale, prices might vary. For example, I would offer a 50×70 print starting from around 50€.
